GREENSBORO, NC ­- Four Campbell players went undefeated in singles action as the Camels went a combined 21-14 at the Spartan Classic Invitational October 14-15.

Freshman, Ana Castillo, notched an unblemished record on the weekend by recording a 2-0 record in singles play and a 3-0 mark in doubles action alongside Georgina Segarra.
 
Castillo opened play on Saturday with a 6-2, 6-4 win over UNCG's Nancy Bridges. She closed out singles action with a 6-4, 6-0 decision against Big South opponent Tracy Johnson of Presbyterian.
 
Castillo and Segarra opened doubles play with an 8-5 win over Presbyterian's Sam Calais and Caroline Ferrari.
 
The two went on to claim an 8-6 win over UNCG's Alice Taylor and Corinne Blythe and Appalachian State's Emily Gaskins and Sandra Anglesio, 8-6, Sunday afternoon.
 
Alexandra Andrivot, Alexandra Nicoara, and Lou Regen all claimed perfect records in singles action.
 
Andrivot opened singles play with a 6-4, 2-6, 10-6 win over UNCG's Alice Taylor. She went on to claim wins against Appalachian State's Maria Zicarias, 5-7, 6-4, 10-2 and Presbyterian's Sam Calais, 6-2, 2-6, 10-7.
 
Nicoara claimed wins against UNCG's Emily Ory 5-7, 7-6, 10-7, App State's Melissa Machado 6-1,6-1 and Presbyterian's Demi Henschel 7-6, 6-1.
 
Regan opened with a 3-6, 6-3, 10-6 win over UNCG's Sophia Adams followed by a 6-2, 6-1 win over App State's Taylor Bygrave and closed out singles play with a 6-1, 4-6, 11-9 win over Presbyterian's Caroline Ferrari.
 
Campbell returns to action October 19-22 at the ITA Carolina Regional in Chapel Hill. Some Camels will compete in the NC State Invitational October 19-20.
