Greenville, NC - Six players went undefeated in singles play as Campbell won seven out of twelve flights at the Pirate Invitational September 23-24.
Alexandra Andrivot,
Isabel Boada,
Alexandra Nicoara,
Pauline Roustan, and
Georgina Segarra all went 3-0 on the weekend while
Huda McGraw tabbed a 1-0 record to start the fall season undefeated in singles play.
Castillo and Segarra joined together and claimed the second flight with perfect 3-0 mark in doubles play.
Nicoara and Roustan also went undefeated in doubles play with a 3-0 record to clinch the fourth flight.
Duo,
Lea Cutura and
Lou Regen, claimed all three of their matches in doubles action. The pair's win clinched Campbell's third flight on the weekend. Both teammates finished 2-1 in singles play.
Andrivot and Boada lost only one match in doubles and fell to ECU 6-1 to drop flight one as Campbell clinched three out of four flights in doubles action.
Campbell left Greenville with only three outright flight losses. On the singles side, in flight two, the Camels finished in a three-way tie with East Carolina and West Virginia State while they shared the title of flight seven with East Carolina.
The Fighting Camels return to action September 29 through October 1 as they travel to UNCW for the Seahawk National Invitational in Wilmington, NC.
