BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell's Michael DeLucia was added to the Johnny Bench Award Watch List while David Olson has made the initial John Olerud Award Watch List.

The Johnny Bench Award watch list will be narrowed down to the semifinalists, whom will be announced May 16, 2013. Ballots will be sent to the national voting panel at the end of May for a vote to determine the three finalists. The finalists will be announced June 4, 2013. A final vote among the national committee will occur during the College World Series. All finalists will be brought to Wichita and the winner will be announced at the 15th Annual Greater Wichita Sports Banquet on June 27, 2013.

The Bench Award honors the top NCAA Division I catcher, and is administered by the Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission.

Olson is one of 25 in NCAA Division I baseball on the Olerud list. The Olerud Award, presented on June 29 in Lubbock, Texas, as part of the College Baseball Hall of Fame's annual Night of Champions, recognizes baseball players who excel both on the mound and in the field.

Teammates Ryan Thompson and Brent Graham are also up for national honors, making the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Stopper of the Year (nation's top relief pitcher) and Brooks Wallace (top shortstop) watch lists.
