The duo helped Campbell (1-0) to its sixth straight opening day win. The Camels also topped NKU (0-1) to open the 2015 season.
Hallum, a redshirt senior from Bakersfield, Calif., went 2-for-3 with a double, two intentional walks and five RBI, while Jones was 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles and four batted in for the Camels.
Hallum cleared the bases with a three-run double in the first, and followed with a two-run single with the bases loaded in the second.
Jones, meanwhile, doubled in a score in a four-run second for the Camels, and drove in another pair with a double in the third. The junior transfer from Jacksonville, Fla. also homered in his Campbell debut, knocking out a solo shot to left in the home half of the seventh.
Allan Winans (1-0) picked up the win for the Camels, working five innings with two runs, one earned, on five hits with four strikeouts and two walks. Ryan Kirk earned the save, working three innings with a run on two hits, four punchouts and a walk.
Trey Ganns (0-1) took the loss for the Norse, allowing nine runs, all earned, on seven hits with a strikeout and three walks in 2 1/3 innings.
Will Haueter paced NKU at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a RBI.
The series continues Saturday with a 3 p.m. start. The finale will come Sunday at 1 p.m.
