BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell heads to nearby North Carolina State on Tuesday, March 21, for a midweek bout at Doak Field. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.

The Camels are 8-12 on the season, winning the Spider Invitational finale Sunday over host Richmond 5-4. Campbell also fell to Michigan State (3-1) and Cornell (3-2) in the tournament.
Redshirt freshman Matthew Barefoot hits .403 with 17 RBI to lead the Camels, while Jeff Hahs hits .358 with 14 RBI. Drew Butler, the nation's leader in stolen bases with 20, also hits .353 with 24 runs scored, adding a .511 on-base percentage from the leadoff spot.
The Wolfpack is 12-9 on the season, taking 2-of-3 over Miami in Atlantic Coast Conference action last weekend.
Josh McLain bats .372 for NCSU, adding 11 RBI and 15 runs scored, while Will Wilson has collected a team-best 19 RBI, hitting .277. Joe Dunand has hit a team-high six home runs with 13 RBI, hitting .240 on the season.
Right-hander Christian Demby will make the start for the Wolfpack, owning a 0-1 mark with a 4.05 ERA in four appearances. Joe O'Donnell (3-0, 1.50 ERA) and Austin Staley (1-0, 2.25 ERA, 4 saves) anchor the NC State bullpen.
NC State leads the all-time series with the Camels 35-12-1, with the last meeting between the two programs coming in 2015, where the Wolfpack came out with a 9-5 win in Raleigh.
Campbell begins Big South play this weekend, traveling to Gardner-Webb. The three game set begins on Friday, March 24 at 6 p.m. CU returns to Jim Perry Stadium on March 31, starting a Big South series with Charleston Southern.
