Prep: A three-year varsity football letterwinner at Liberty High School…played both offensive and defensive line…tallied 60 tackles, forced five fumbles and recovered seven as a senior on defense…also registered 35 pancake blocks…named all-county, first team all-conference and honorable mention all-state in his final campaign…voted the captain of the football team as a senior…also was a state qualifier in wrestling, where he also was voted team captain…finished third in the heavyweight division in the region as a senior.
