2008-09: Named to the Pioneer Football League’s Academic Honor Roll…played in all 11 games with seven starts on the offensive line…earned a letter...lead the team with 22 pancake blocks and 19 lumberjacks…graded out with a winning percentage against Birmingham-Southern (88 percent), Davidson (90 percent) and Valparaiso (89 percent)

Prep: A three-year varsity football letterwinner at Liberty High School…played both offensive and defensive line…tallied 60 tackles, forced five fumbles and recovered seven as a senior on defense…also registered 35 pancake blocks…named all-county, first team all-conference and honorable mention all-state in his final campaign…voted the captain of the football team as a senior…also was a state qualifier in wrestling, where he also was voted team captain…finished third in the heavyweight division in the region as a senior.
