BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell has added Old Dominion to its 2013 football schedule for Saturday, Nov. 16 at S.B. Ballard Stadium. Kickoff will be announced on a later date.

With the addition, the Camels will be playing 12 games in a season for the first time since the program was relaunched in 2008. ODU will also be Campbell's first Football Bowl Subdivision opponent. The Monarchs are transitioning to FBS classification after spending their first four seasons at the FCS level.

"We're thankful for the opportunity to play against an FBS program for the first time, and to continue our series with ODU," said first year Campbell head coach Mike Minter. "It will also give our players another challenge towards the end of the season."

The Camels and Monarchs have matched up in each of the last four seasons.

As a result of the ODU contest addition, the Camels' regular season finale against Pioneer Football League rival Davidson has been pushed back a week to Nov. 23. The contest will be played at 1 p.m. at Richardson Stadium.

Campbell announced its 2013 schedule in December. CU will again play an eight game Pioneer Football League slate, splitting four home and four away.

The 2013 season will begin on Aug. 31 at Charlotte. The team's six-game home schedule will start with UVa.-Wise on Sept. 7 at 6 p.m.
