BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell will host Morehead State Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Barker-Lane Stadium in its Pioneer Football League home opener during Family Weekend.
Saturday is "Camels for A Cure" Day to support Breast Cancer Awareness. All fans are encouraged to wear pink.
Campbell Athletics will host a silent auction featuring limited edition Campbell Football "Camels for a Cure" hats and head coach Mike Minter signed pink mini footballs. Bidding will begin when gates open at 11:30 a.m. and conclude at 1:30 p.m. Fans will also have a chance to spin the "Camels for a Cure" prize wheel for $2 per try.

The Camels are 1-3 overall and 0-1 in PFL play after dropping a 49-42 shootout at Valparaiso last weekend in the conference opener for both teams.
The Camels' 591 yards of total offense at Valpo are the second most all-time (modern era, since 2008) in a game behind this season's 659 in a 56-21 win over UVa.Wise. The total is a PFL single-game program record. The team rushed for 298 yards and passed for 293, scoring three times on the ground and twice through the air.
Kurt Odom, a senior running back, led the way with 91 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries, while Hudson added 89 yards and a touchdown on the ground. The senior quarterback added 256 yards passing on 21-of-33 attempts and another score.
Ben Bolling and Chad McMichael both grabbed touchdown passes in the loss, posting 88 and 59 yards, respectively. Jordan Hildreth caught four passes for 68 yards, also throwing a 37-yard touchdown pass.
Marcus Maynard, Matt Farris and Andrew Yost each posted nine tackles for the Camels, while Aaron Nichols tacked on six and an interception. Lucas Smith tallied Campbell's only sack of the game, one of his four stops.
Hudson leads the Camels on the year with team highs in passing (497) and rushing (299), tossing three touchdowns and running for another. Freshman Keith Goss has posted 208 yards on the ground and a score, while Odom adds 196 yards with a pair of touchdowns.
Ben Bolling, a redshirt sophomore wide out, leads the team in receiving yards with 166 and two touchdowns.
Morehead State 1-4 on the season after picking up its first victory of the season, a 45-14 win over Davidson on Saturday. The Eagles are 1-1 in the PFL, falling to 69-19 at the hands of Jacksonville on Sept. 14.
Austin Gahafer owns 699 yards and four touchdowns passing for the Eagles, while Rees Macshara has collected a team-best 173 yards and a score rushing. Jake Raymond tops all Eagle receivers with 234 yards and a touchdown.
Ronald Cooper leads the MSU defense with 25 total tackles, including 5.5 sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss, while Jordan Hendrix adds 26 tackles and two for loss.
Campbell is 2-3 all-time against Morehead State, including 2-0 at Barker-Lane Stadium with wins in 2009 and 2011. Both teams have defended their home facility, both remaining undefeated in the series. Last season, the Eagles took a 70-28 win in Morehead, Ky.
