BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell hosted its 2017 pro day Monday, March 20, welcoming professional scouts to Barker-Lane Stadium.
Seven Campbell seniors, Greg Cunningham, Jordan Ford, Syd Hold, De'Shawn Jones, Jared Joyner, J'Wan Lewis and Josh Manley, as well as former Camel Danny Dillon performed for National Football League scouts.
The Camels' 2017 Scout Day was the second ever for the Campbell football program, which completed its ninth season of competition in 2016, and fourth under former 10-year NFL veteran and Carolina Panther, head coach Mike Minter.
After completing weigh-ins and measurements, the group participated in a full pro-style workout, with the 40-yard dash, bench press, vertical jump and broad jump, plus pro agility, three cone, 60-yard shuttle and position drills.
Campbell begins 2017 spring practice Tuesday, March 21 at 5 a.m. at Barker-Lane Stadium, the first of 15 spring sessions for the Camels. CU will host its annual Spring Game on April 8 at noon.
