CU (2-3) is coming off a 67-53 win Saturday at VMI.  The Camels used runs of 19-3 in the first half and 21-5 in the second to pull away from the Keydets.  Campbell shot 65 percent from the floor in the second period and made 9-of-16 threes (.563) on the day while holding VMI to just 32 percent shooting.

Chris Clemons led the Camels with 24 points, while Shane Whitfield added 13.  Andrew Eudy chipped in career highs of 9 points and 4 assists, plus 3 blocks.  Damontez Oliver pulled down a season-best 10 rebounds.

Allen (3-4) is coming off an 88-81 loss Tuesday at Reinhardt. Avery Harris led five Yellow Jackets in double figures with 17 points, while Ramon Suero added 16, plus 7 rebounds.

Monday's game is Allen's second against a Division I foe this year.  The Yellow Jackets lost Nov. 15 at Wofford 117-77.

Chris Clemons - the 2016 Big South freshman of the year - produced his 15th 20-plus point game in 35 career outings Saturday at VMI.  He leads the Big South in scoring (22.4), steals (2.6) and 3-pointers made (3.8) per game.

Sophomore C Andrew Eudy leads the Big South in blocked shots (2.6), while junior F Shane Whitfield is 10th in rebounds (5.6) and free throw percentage (.714) and 18th in scoring (10.8).

Last year at Buies Creek, Campbell hit a school Division I era 74.5 percent of its shots and set a Gore Arena record for most points in a game in a 110-66 victory over Allen. Clemons scored 24 of his 30 points in the opening period for the Camels, who used an early 17-2 run and led 55-37 at the break.  Campbell made 38-51 field goals (.745), the highest percentage since joining NCAA Division I in 1977-78.  The old record of 70 percent was set on Jan. 20, 1986 against Brooklyn College in Carter Gym.CU's 110-point explosion was the third-highest in CU Division I history and the most points scored in a game since the Pope Center / Gore Arena opened in 2008.

Campbell continues play in the Holy City Hoops Classic this weekend with three games on the campus of The Citadel in Charleston, S.C.  CU meets USC Upstate Friday (4:00 p.m.) and Colgate Saturday (2:00) before facing the host Bulldogs Sunday (3:00).
