Camels 10th after 36 holes of Sea Best Invitational

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FLA. – Gaston Bertinotti is tied for 25th individually and Campbell sits in 10th place on the team leader board after 36 holes Monday of the Sea Best Invitational at TPC Sawgrass Dye's Valley.

Red-shirt freshman Brett McLamb shot a collegiate-low, even-par 70 on the 6873-yard layout in Monday's afternoon round for Campbell, which is competing against a field that includes seven top-50 ranked teams.

No.-2 Florida (277-275—552) leads No.-13 North Carolina (280-273—553) by one stroke heading into Tuesday's final round, which begins with double tee times at 8:00 a.m.  Lipscomb (278-282—560) is third at even-par, followed by Florida State (281-281—562) and Arkansas (291-272—563) in the 15-team field.

Campbell (296-285—581) is six strokes behind ninth-place Tennessee (575) and seven ahead of both SMU (588) and East Carolina (588) through 36 holes.

Playing as an individual, Ryan Orr of Florida (67-66—133) owns a three-stroke lead at seven-under-par over Gator teammates Gordon Neale and Alejandro Tosti, both of whom shot back-to-back 2-under 68s.

Bertinotti followed a 3-over 73 with a 1-over 71 Monday afternoon.  The senior from Cordoba, Argentina made four birdies on the day, three in the afternoon round.

Ray Kravixien made 27 pars in 36 holes (tied for fifth in the 83-golfer field) and is tied for 32nd.  McLamb (77-70—147) had four birdies in the afternoon round and played his final seven holes at 3-under-par to trim four strokes off his previous collegiate best 18-hole score.

Jesper Svensson (76-71) is tied with McLamb in 42nd place at 7-over-par, while Craig Hornberger is tied for 62nd (75-75—150).
