BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Campbell has announced its 2014 home promotions schedule for men's soccer.
The Fighting Camels will open the home schedule with a preseason tilt against George Mason on Saturday, Aug. 23, at 5 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come out to the Camel Rewards Student Party to enjoy inflatables, cornhole and free food as part of Coca Cola's "Share a Coke Tour" as it makes a stop in Buies Creek.
Campbell will host Loyola (Md.) in the first regular season matchup on Saturday, Sept. 6, at 6 p.m. September is Youth Soccer Month and young players can come out and enjoy a fun-filled night with lots of activites and a post-match autograph session with members of the team.
The 6 p.m. contest against UNC Wilmington on Sept. 16 will feature Twitter Tuesday, where fans can follow Campbell Athletics (@GoCamels) on Twitter to be eligible to win prizes during the match.
If students attend and have their Campbell IDs scanned at four of the first seven men's and women's matches this season, they will be eligible to claim their very own Campbell soccer scarf at the match against Charlotte at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20.
As part of the Family Weekend and Alumni Day festivites on Saturday, Sept. 27, men's soccer will host Davidson at 3:30 p.m. Bring your Campbell football ticket stub to the match and be entered to win a Family Weekend Prize Pack while catching up with alumni from men's soccer squads in years past.
Saturday, Oct. 4's matchup at 6 p.m. will double as Campbell's Big South opener as well as Camels for a Cure. Fans are encouraged to wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The first 100 fans through the door will receive a free pink t-shirt and donations will be accepted to benefit the Harnett Health Foundation.
Join us on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 5 p.m. for Movie Night on the Hill. The Fighting Camels will square off against Presbyterian with a movie immediately following the conclusion of the match. The first 100 fans in attendance will also receive a free popcorn voucher for the movie.
Celebrate Hump Day with an Orange Out on Wednesday, Oct. 29 as the Camels take on High Point at 7 p.m. All fans are encouraged to wear orange and can have their photos taken with Gaylord in the Campbell Photobooth. The first 100 students in attendance will also be treated to free pizza.
Our men and women in service will be honored prior to the match against Winthrop on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. The men's soccer team will also be a part of the Military Appreciation football game at 1 p.m. earlier in the day.
The final home match of the season will be capped off with Senior Night. Campbell will face UNC-Asheville on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m. and all of the team's seniors will be honored before the contest. The concession stand will also offer $1 corndogs throughout the match as a way of saying "Franks for Coming" out for the season.
All of Campbell's men's soccer matches feature free admission for all fans, so be sure to come out this season and support the Fighting Camels.
