BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Campbell men's and women's tennis team are both set to host the USC Upstate Spartans on Saturday, Feb. 11. Both matches are scheduled to begin at noon at the Nisbet Tennis Center.

The Campbell men are currently riding a three-match win streak, and their 4-1 start to the spring is their best since 2014. Sophomores Gerard Sola (4-0) and Dustin Werner (3-0) are currently undefeated in singles this spring, while Nicolas Rakitin and Lukas Schaefer have won their last two matches as CU's top doubles team. Most recently, Campbell hosted Barton College, defeating the Bulldogs in a sweep, 7-0.

The Spartans are 2-2 on the season, earning 6-1 wins in their last two matches over the Radford Highlanders and Wofford Terriers. Upstate's Felix Ewers is undefeated this spring at the No. 1 singles spot, while Francisco Neto is also 4-0 in singles this year. In doubles, Fernando Bernardes and Ignacio Garrido are 3-0 on the season.

On the women's side, the Camels sit at 2-4 on the season and are coming off of a 7-0 defeat on the road at UNCW. CU looks to bounce back against a USC Upstate squad that has not won a match yet this year. The Spartans are 0-5, most recently falling to fellow Big South member Presbyterian, 4-3. A bright spot for the Spartans would be their No. 1 doubles team of Filippa Ericson and Eduarda Ferreira, who are 2-0 on the season.

Following the match, the Campbell men will travel to Conway, S.C. to take on Coastal Carolina on Friday, Feb. 17 and Appalachian State on Saturday, Feb. 18. The women's team will head to Durham, N.C. to face the N.C. Central Eagles on Saturday, Feb. 18. For the most up-to-date information on Campbell tennis, follow @GoCamelsTennis on Twitter.
