BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Fighting Camels are back in action Tuesday afternoon as they are set to host the UNC Greensboro Spartans. The regional tennis matchup is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at the Nisbet Tennis Center.

Campbell is currently riding a six-match winning streak dating back to Jan. 20 against the Morgan St. Bears. CU's 7-1 start to the season is the best for the program since 2011, when the Camels opened at 9-1. Sophomore Gerard Sola has yet to lose a match this spring, owning a 7-0 record in singles and a 6-0 record in doubles with partner Jonathan O'Neal. Nicolas Rakitin (six matches) and Fernando Clemente (five matches) are also enjoying lengthy win streaks in singles play this spring.

UNCG travels to Buies Creek looking for its first win of the spring. The Spartans sit at 2-1 this season, and have not played a match since Jan. 22. Most recently, UNC Greensboro defeated Troy at home, 4-2. The Spartans' top player is Connor Thompson, who is 1-1 at No. 1 singles and 1-1 at No. 1 doubles with partner Marcus Vidgren. Daniel Hammarstedt is the only Spartan without a loss this season as he sits at 2-0 in singles play.

Following the match, Campbell will host its second home match of the week on Friday, Feb. 24 against East Carolina. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at the Nisbet Tennis Center. For the most up-to-date information on Campbell tennis, follow @GoCamelsTennis on Twitter.
