Swimming Downs Aggies 169-32

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Campbell picked up a 169-32 road win at  North Carolina A&T Friday, sweeping all events on the night.

The Camels claimed the top two spots in 10 of 11 events at N.C. A&T, improving to 9-6 in dual meets this season.

Beginning with the 200 medley relay (Sydney Postmus, Lexie Miller, Cheriesse Campbell, Sarah Jabusch), Campbell grabbed a win with a 1:53.84.

Chelsea Lawson followed with a win in the 1,000 yard freestyle on a personal best 11:17.17. Maggie Pogue then notched the 200 free win (2:02.21), and Kat Costin earned the victory in the 50 free (26.18).

Lily Tang's 2:19.27 earned the win in the 200 IM, while Larissa Joassaint posted a 1:00.02 to top the 100 fly. Erica Wammock registered a win in the 100 freestyle (54.88), while Meredith Cooper's personal best 1:02.39 topped the 100 back.

Rachel Ponti (5:32.36) and Bryce Connolly (1:10.90) rounded out Campbell's individual wins on the night in the 500 free and the 100 breaststroke, respectively.

Campbell finished off the sweep in the 200 free relay (Marissa Coughlin, Virginia Dailey, Chelsea Lawson, Larissa Joassaint) with a time of 1:45.15.

Campbell will wrap up its regular season schedule on Feb. 2 at UNC Wilmington. The Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association Championships will begin on Feb. 20 in Athens, Ga.
