Swimming hosts North Florida on Senior Day Saturday

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell will close out its 2016-17 home schedule Saturday, January 28, hosting North Florida at 11 a.m. at the Johnson Aquatic Center. The Camels will honor their three seniors, Olivia Dwyer, Alice Rigback and Abbey Will prior to Saturday's meet.

The Camels are 7-4 in dual competition this season, falling at Liberty in their return to action last weekend. North Florida stands at 1-5 in dual meets this season. The Ospreys are 0-3 on the road.

Junior Geena Squartino has posted season-bests for the Camels in four categories, including the 500 free (5:02.46), 1000 free (10:32.60), 1650 free (17:29.45) and the 400 IM (4:30.71), while fellow junior Caroline Clark has topped the team in the 100 fly (55.12), 200 fly (2:05.28) and the 200 IM (2:06.31).

Michelle Case, another CU junior, owns Campbell season-bests in the 50 free (23.45) and 100 free (51.25). A pair of freshman have also helped lead the Camels, with Megan Everritt leading the way in the 100 back (57.47) and Kelsey Tunstall pacing the team in the 200 back (2:03.47).

The Camels' regular season finale will come at UNCW on February 4 before heading to the CCSA Championships, February 15-18.
