Campbell Fifth After First Round of Waterlefe/USF Invitational Women's Golf Tournament

BRADENTON, FLA. – Sofia Gorelik and Camila Lopez are tied for seventh individually and Campbell is fifth after 18 holes Monday at the Waterlefe Invitational women's golf tournament hosted by the University of South Florida.

Gorelik and Lopez each finished the first round at four-over 76, five strokes off the pace of first-round leader Lisbeth Meincke of Georgia State, who shot a one-under 71.

Georgia State leads the 12-school field at 302, followed by Miami (303), Coastal Carolina (306), South Florida (309) and Campbell (310).

Thirty-six holes were scheduled for Monday, daylight permitting. The final round is set for an 8:00 a.m. start Tuesday at the par-72, 5975-yard Waterlefe Golf Club.
