Women's Golf finishes tied for 15th place at Golfweek Conference Challenge
Virginia (287-303-287-877) shot the day's low round (one-under-par) to claim team honors. Arizona (292-296-295-883) was second, followed by Tulane (287-304-298-889) in the 18-school field. Campbell (317-320-311-948) tied Coastal Carolina (322-316-310-948) for 15th place, three strokes behind 14th-place Missouri State (314-314-317-945) and 15 ahead of Sacramento State.
Brittany Altomare of Virginia (69-73-70-212) claimed individual honors, one stroke ahead of Tulane's Janine Fellows (70-73-70-213). Second-round leader Therese Koelbaek of UNLV (69-70-75-214) dropped to third place on the par-72, 6247-yard Red Sky layout.
Koh (76-76-74-226) tied for 26th place in the 90-player field. Senior Sarah Bejgrowicz (78-80-82-240) and freshman Maria Jose Benavides (82-80-78-240) tied for 61st. Senior Sandra Angulo (83-84-79-246) finished in a tie for 80th, while freshman Kaylin Yost (81-86-80-247) tied for 84th.
Campbell returns to action Oct. 8-10 at the Xavier Invitational at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
