KNOXVILLE, TENN. – Tahnia Ravnjak is tied for 19th place individually and Campbell is tied for 12th in the team standings following Friday's first round of the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship at Cherokee Country Club.

With two players among the top six individuals, South Carolina leads the 17-school field after a 5-under-par 279 on the par-71, 5897 yard layout.  Arkansas is second (282), Louisville third (283) and host Tennessee fourth (285) heading into Saturday's second round of the 54-hole event.  Six schools, including No.-14 Campbell, in the 17-team even are ranked among the nation's top 25 by Golfstat.

Katelyn Dambaugh of South Carolina and Fanny Cnops of UCF are tied for first place at 3-under 68 after a round that produced 14 scores in red numbers in a 93-golfer field.

Coming off her first collegiate win earlier this month at the Golfweek Program Challenge, Ravnjak made four birdies Friday and shot one-over 72.  Red-shirt junior Ali Prazak, who played the last 10 holes even, and senior Kaylin Yost are tied for 52nd place at 4-over 75.  Freshman Louise Latorre shot 76 and junior Lisbeth Brooks 77 for Campbell, which is locked in a three-way tie for 12th (298), but stands only 8 strokes out of sixth place.

Saturday's second round begins at 8:30 a.m.  Live scoring is available on-line at
