GREENSBORO, N.C. – Kaylin Yost was the individual runner-up and Campbell finished second on the team leader board after Tuesday's final round of the UNCG Starmount Fall Classic at Starmount Forest Country Club.

A senior from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Yost shot an even-par 213 (69-72-72) on the par-71, 6265-yard Starmount Forest layout and finished three strokes off the pace of individual champion Agathe Sauzon of Chattanooga (70-71-69—210).

The 2012 Big South player of the year, Yost led the 84-player field with 14 birdies over the 54-hole event, played the par-3 holes at one-under and had the third-best average (3-over) on the par fours.  Her opening round 69 was a season-best.

Chattanooga (289-289-298—876) held off Campbell (299-289-290—878) to win team honors by two strokes.  CU turned in Tuesday's low score, a 6-over 290.  Maryland was third (288-302-294—884) in the 15-school event.

"Kaylin played really well, and it's nice that the 'old Kaylin' is back," said head coach John Crooks.  "Everyone in the lineup played well today.  It was a very positive performance."

Yost produced her first top-five individual finish since she won the Fighting Camel Fall Classic, Oct. 22-23, 2012.

Campbell finished among the top four teams at the event for the fourth-straight time.  CU won the tournament in 2009 and finished fourth in both 2011 and 2012.

After matching her collegiate career low round (67) Monday afternoon, junior Lisbeth Brooks finished in a tie for seventh (79-67-73—219).  Sophomore Tahnia Ravnjak (78-76-73—227), junior Ali Prazak (77-74-76—227) and freshman Louise Latorre (75-80-72—227) all tied for 29th.

Brooks made 8 birdies and 34 pars during the event, while Prazak had 35 pars.  All five of Campbell's starters played the par-5 holes in red numbers, led by Ravnjak (-3).  Latorre turned in the best round of her young collegiate career (one-over 72) and made 32 pars in 54 holes.

Playing as individuals, junior Brooke Bellomy tied for 48th (80-80-75—235) and senior Maria Jose Benavides finished 75th (77-84-83—244).

Campbell returns to action Oct. 12-13 at the Diane Thomason Invitational hosted by the University of Iowa.
