JACKSONVILLE, FLA. – Annelie Sjoholm is second on the individual leader board and Campbell is two strokes off the team lead after 36 holes Monday of the UNF Collegiate at Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
Sjoholm shot 69-73—142 Monday and was one of only two golfers in the 87-player field in red numbers through two rounds at the par-72, 6002-yard layout. Sana Tufail of Old Dominion shot back-to-back 70s to take the individual lead at 4-under-par 140.
Memphis (296-300) and Old Dominion (298-298—596) are knotted atop the team leader board, two strokes ahead of No.-51 Campbell (301-297—598) and three ahead of Eastern Kentucky (295-304—599). Southern Miss and Daytona State are tied for 5th at 601.
As a team, Campbell is first in the field in par-5 scoring (-8) and third on the par-3 layouts (+10).
Coming off her first collegiate win last month at the Amelia Island Collegiate, Sjoholm made eight birdies on the day – five in her opening round 69 – to tie for 2econd in the field. She leads the tournament in par-3 scoring (-4) and is tied for 7th on the par four holes (+3).
Campbell sophomore Desiree Andersson is tied for 16th overall (75-75—150), while senior Nadine White is tied for 28th (77-57—152). Junior Ayelen Irizar is tied for 40th (80-74—154) and sophomore Anna Svanka is tied for 51st (81-76—157). Playing as an individual, freshman Stacey White is tied for 25th (74-77—151).
