PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FLA. – Heavy rains and thunderstorms in the Jacksonville area forced the cancellation of Tuesday's final round of the Web.com Intercollegiate women's golf tournament at Marsh Landing Country Club.

After enduring two lightning delays Monday, Campbell finished 12th in the 16-team field.  Nadine White tied for 20th individually (74-78—152) in the 90-golfer field where only two players finished at par or better.

Sasikarn Somboomsup of Texas State won the individual title at 4-under 140 (68-72). Camila Serrano of Florida International was second at even-par 144 (77-67).

East Tennessee State (299-299—598) claimed a four-stroke lead over Cincinnati (301-301—602) in the 16-team field.  Campbell (303-316—619) finished one stroke ahead of Chattanooga and North Texas, seven shots out of fifth place.

Campbell junior Annelie Sjoholm tied for 34th (78-77—155), while sophomore Anna Svanka tied for 40th (74-82—156).  Freshman Desiree Andersson (77-83—160) and senior Louise Latorre (81-79—160) tied for 63rd.

Playing as individuals, Ayelen Irizar (77-80—157) and Stacey White (77-80—157) tied for 44th.

Sjoholm aced the par-three, 151-yard 17th hole in Monday's second round.

Campbell now turns its attention to preparing for the Big South Conference Championship, Apr. 17-19 at The Patriot Golf Club in Ninety Six, S.C.  The Camels have won the league title three times in the last five years, in 2012, 2014 and 2016.
