ST. LOUIS, MO. – Nathan Kraisser, All-American. The senior from Ellicott City, Maryland clinched his first and Campbell wrestling's first All-America honor Friday evening inside the Scottrade Center.

Kraisser defeated SIUE's Freddie Rodriguez, 4-1, in the first match of the fourth session at the 2017 NCAA Championships.

Kraisser, the No. 16 seed, had fallen to the No. 14 seed and Southern Conference rival, Rodriguez, twice this season, including the SoCon final two weeks prior.

Kraisser then took on No. 2 Joey Dance of Virginia Tech, but dropped to Saturday morning's seventh place match, with a 4-2 loss. He will take on Edinboro's Sean Russell, the No. 7 seed, during the final day of competition, beginning at 11 a.m.
