WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Six Campbell women's soccer players have received NCCSIA All-State honors, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.

Senior midfielder Payton Ormsby represents Campbell on the All-State First Team for the second-straight season. Ormsby ranked third in the Big South with 22 points on the year, notching seven goals and eight assists. She scored and/or assisted on a goal in every conference win in 2016, including a three-assist effort in a win over the Winthrop Eagles. Following the regular season, Ormsby was selected First-Team All-Conference.

Freshman forward Alexa Genas was named to the All-State Second Team. Genas started in every match at forward for Campbell, notching eight goals and four assists for a grand total of 20 points. She showed a great attacking mindset on the year, leading the Camels with 67 shot attempts and 28 on goal. Genas' biggest moment of the season came in the Big South quarterfinal as she scored two goals to lift the Camels past Radford. Genas was named to the Big South First-Team All-Conference, All-Freshman and All-Tournament team in 2016.

Senior defender Murita Storey was selected to the All-State Second Team for the second-consecutive year. Storey played and started every game at right back for the Camels. She has arguably the best skills on the ball of any player on the roster, and uses her speed to set up a Camel attack that led the conference in goals, assists and points. Storey scored her first goal since 2013 this season as she netted the game-winner against Presbyterian. Storey was selected First-Team All-Conference following the regular season.

Senior midfielder Christine Kindt was selected Second Team All-State after a career season in the Creek. Kindt set career highs in goals (5), assists (4) and points (14) in 2016. She tallied two goals in a key win over the Winthrop Eagles, including the game-winning golden goal in the second overtime. Following that performance, Kindt was named Big South Attacking Player of the Week on Oct. 10. She received her first career yearly award after being named Second-Team All-Conference.

Senior midfielder Kine Thorsvik was named to the All-State Second Team. After tallying two goals and three assists over two matches at VMI and USC Upstate, she was named Big South Attacking Player of the Week on Sept. 12. In the classroom, Thorsvik boasts a 3.79 GPA with a Business Administration major, earning her a spot on the Big South All-Academic Team. Following the regular season, Thorsvik was recognized as an All-Conference Honorable Mention for her efforts on the field.

Freshman defender Callie Beckwith rounds out the all-state honorees for Campbell, also being selected to the Second Team. Beckwith started in all 18 games as a freshman for the Camels at left back. In conference play, she assisted the game-tying goal at UNC Asheville and the game-winning goal against Longwood. Beckwith anchored a defense that shutout five opponents on the year and led the Camels to a top-3 overall finish in the Big South. Following the regular season, Beckwith was named to the Big South All-Freshman Team.
