BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Head coach David Johnson has announced the women's tennis schedule for the spring of 2017.
The Camels will begin the semester in Raleigh, N.C. on Saturday, January 21st as they take on Appalachian State at 1:00 p.m., followed by N.C. State at 5:00 p.m.
The spring schedule features nine home matches for the Camels, with the home opener coming on Thursday, February 2nd as Campbell hosts Chowan. CU will host dual matches for the women's and men's teams four times this spring against USC Upstate, UNC Asheville, Morgan State and South Carolina State. Senior Day will come against the Liberty Flames when the Campbell women host their final home match on Tuesday, Apr. 11.
Conference play begins on Saturday, Feb. 25 as the Camels visit Charleston Southern. Up next, CU will host back-to-back conference matches as they face Radford on March 3 and UNC Asheville on March 4. The next three Big South matches will be on the road as the Camels travel to Longwood, Gardner-Webb and Presbyterian. CU's final conference matches come March 25th when they host Winthrop and Apr. 11 when the Liberty Flames come to town.
Following the regular season, the Camels will head to Winston-Salem, N.C. for the Big South Tennis Championships, scheduled for April 20-23. For a full breakdown of dates, opponents, locations and times, view the full schedule here.
