Women's tennis travels to Coastal Carolina Saturday

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Campbell women's tennis team is set to travel to Conway, S.C. for a regional tennis matchup against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Stevens Tennis Complex.

Most recently, the Camels earned their second win of the season as they swept the Chowan Hawks in their home-opener, 7-0. Pauline Roustan earned her team-leading eighth singles win of the 2016-17 campaign over Angelique Gouin, 6-2, 6-2. In addition, Lea Cutura and Nina Asanin picked up their first dual match doubles win of the spring over Pacelli/Daneshjoo, 6-2.

The Chanticleers are also coming off a sweep as they picked up their first win of the season against USC Upstate, 7-0. The last time these two teams faced off in a dual, CCU defeated CU, 5-2 in the spring of 2016.

Following the match, the Campbell women will return home to host the 49ers of UNC Charlotte on Tuesday, Feb. 7. The match is set to begin at 2 p.m. at the Nisbet Tennis Center. For the most up-to-date information on Campbell tennis, follow @GoCamelsTennis on Twitter.
