Women's tennis swept at Coastal Carolina

CONWAY, S.C. – Campbell women's tennis fell in a sweep, 7-0, to the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Saturday afternoon at the Stevens Tennis Complex. It was the second time CU has been swept this season.

The match began with doubles play as Alexandra Nicoara and Pauline Roustan fell to Natalie Wall and Romane Delay, 6-1. CCU's Marie Babayan and Alexa Tiefel defeated Nina Asanin and Lea Cutura on court three to clinch the doubles point, 6-3. The first doubles flight went unfinished as Alexandra Andrivot and Isabel Boada narrowly trailed Rylie Cox and Sara Bondar, 5-4.

Campbell could not find any success in singles, falling in all six flights. On court 4, Roustan came close to forcing a third set but ultimately fell against Bondar, 6-0, 6-5.
