BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Camels continue their spring season this weekend in Durham, N.C. as they visit the N.C. Central Eagles for a regional tennis matchup. The match is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 18 at noon at the Dr. James W. Younge Tennis Courts.

Campbell sits at 2-5 on the season and is looking to snap a four-match losing skid. Most recently, CU fell in a home match against the USC Upstate Spartans, 5-2. Alexandra Andrivot and Alexandra Nicoara each earned wins in singles to account for the Camels' points in that match. Andrivot leads the Camels with nine singles win for the 2016-17 season, including a 4-3 record in dual match action.

The Eagles enter the match looking for their first win of the spring season, sitting at 0-5 on the year. Senior Lynsey Cover has the only singles win of the year for NCCU, defeating ECU's Maria Storozheva, 6-4, 6-4. The Eagles earned their only doubles wins of the season against Gardner-Webb, clinching the doubles point as Jamie Rogers/Frida Cnossen and Jasmine Gabriel/Cover picked up wins over the Runnin' Bulldogs.

Following the match, the Camels will begin conference play as they travel to Charleston, S.C. to take on the Charleston Southern Buccaneers. The Big South matchup is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. at the Buccaneer Tennis Complex. For the most up-to-date information on Campbell tennis, follow @GoCamelsTennis on Twitter.
