CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Campbell sophomore Alexandra Andrivot has been named the Big South Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference office announced Wednesday afternoon. She went undefeated in singles and doubles this past weekend at Gardner-Webb and Presbyterian to earn the award.

At Gardner-Webb, Andrivot and doubles partner Isabel Boada clinched the doubles point for CU with a 6-3 win on court one over Sandra Bolstad/Daniela Naupari. Andrivot took on Bolstad in singles play at the No. 1 spot, not dropping a single game on her way to a 6-0, 6-0 victory.

At Presbyterian, Andrivot and Boada opened the match with a win at No. 1 doubles over Henschel/Ferrari, 6-1, for the duo's third-straight victory. In singles action, Andrivot took down one of the conference's top players as she handed Tracy Johnson just her third loss of the season, 6-2, 6-3. Andrivot is currently riding a six-match singles win streak and has won her last five in conference play.

This is the first weekly award of Andrivot's career and the first for the Campbell women this season. The Fighting Camels have found their stride recently, winning four of their last six matches as they head toward the final stretch of the regular season.

Up next, the Campbell women are set to host the Winthrop Eagles in a home Big South matchup on Saturday, March 25. That match is set for a 10 a.m. start at the James R. Nisbet Tennis Center. For the most up-to-date information on Campbell tennis, follow @GoCamelsTennis on Twitter.
