Camels host No. 58 Winthrop Saturday morning

BUIES CREEK, N.C. --- The Fighting Camels are set to host a Big South matchup against the Winthrop Eagles Saturday morning. The match is scheduled for a 10 a.m. start at the James R. Nisbet Tennis Center.

Campbell (7-8, 3-3 BSC) has won four of its last six matches, most recently defeating the Morgan St. Bears, 5-2. Sophomore Alexandra Andrivot is the reigning Big South Women's Tennis Player of the Week and is currently riding a six-match win streak in singles play. She has also claimed victories in three of her last four doubles matches with partner Isabel Boada. Boada is on a three-match singles win streak, while Nina Asanin and Alexandra Nicoara have each won their last two in singles action.

Winthrop (13-4, 5-0 BSC) is the top-ranked team in the conference and was most recently named the No. 58 team in the country by the ITA. WU's Lauren Proctor is ranked No. 87 in the country in singles, owning a 14-2 record overall with a 5-0 ledger in conference play. She and doubles partner Megan Kauffman are one of the conference's top duos, boasting a record of 10-5 this spring and 5-0 in Big South play. The Eagles most recently defeated the UNC Asheville Bulldogs, 6-1, while CU fell to Asheville earlier this season, 4-3.
