BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- The Fighting Camels hit the road Wednesday afternoon to take on the Barton College Bulldogs in an interdivisional women's tennis contest. The match is set to begin at 3:00 p.m. at the Barton Tennis Complex in Wilson, N.C.

Campbell (7-9, 3-4 Big South) looks to bounce back after being swept by the No. 58 ranked Winthrop Eagles, 7-0. Prior to that match, CU had earned back-to-back 5-2 wins over Morgan St. and Presbyterian. The Camels are led by sophomore Alexandra Andrivot, who has tallied 11 singles wins this spring at the No. 1 spot. Campbell juniors Nina Asanin and Georgina Segarra make up Campbell's only doubles pairing with a winning record this spring as they are 3-2 on the year.

Barton (7-8, 4-4 Conference Carolinas) has won just two of its last six matches heading into Wednesday's contest. The Bulldogs are led by Daria Avram, who has won her last three matches at the No. 1 singles flight. Vanessa Sanoja and Dana Kelly also own three-match singles win streak on courts three and six, respectively. Barton has dominated doubles play this spring as the team boasts a 28-17 record overall in doubles action.

Following the match, the Camels will take a week off before returning home to host South Carolina State on Thursday, April 6. The contest is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the James R. Nisbet Tennis Center. For the most up-to-date information on Campbell tennis, follow @GoCamelsTennis on Twitter.
