BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- The Fighting Camels are on the road this weekend as CU visits East Carolina in a non-conference matchup. The match is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 8 at the River Birch Tennis Complex in Greenville, N.C.

Campbell (8-9, 3-4 Big South) is coming off a dominant 8-1 win over the Barton Bulldogs, good for CU's fourth victory in its last six matches. The Camels are led by sophomore Alexandra Andrivot, who has won a team-high 11 singles matches this spring. She and doubles partner Isabel Boada have the most doubles wins of any pairing for Campbell as they have earned seven victories this season.

East Carolina (8-9, 0-0 American) most recently defeated North Carolina A&T in a clean sweep, 7-0. The Pirates and Camels have faced five common opponents this season in Appalachian State, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, NC Central and NC State. Campbell went 2-3 against this group, while ECU had a 3-2 record against these teams. The Pirates' top player is Celia Ruiz, who has been nationally ranked by the ITA in singles this season.

Following the match, the Camels return home for their final conference match of the season against the Liberty Flames. The match is set for a 2 p.m. start on Tuesday, April 11 at the James R. Nisbet Tennis Center. For the most up-to-date information on Campbell tennis, follow @GoCamelsTennis on Twitter.
