GREENVILLE, N.C. -- The Fighting Camels fell in a sweep, 4-0, Saturday afternoon at East Carolina. Campbell's only win of the day came at No. 1 doubles where sophomores Alexandra Andrivot and Isabel Boada defeated Ruiz/Hofbauer, 6-1.

Campbell (8-10, 3-4 Big South) opened the match with Andrivot and Boada's singles win, good for their eighth this spring. ECU won the next two doubles matches to claim the doubles point. Lea Cutura and Pauline Roustan were defeated by Gomez/Rettich on court two, 6-1. Campbell juniors Georgina Segarra and Nina Asanin kept it close on court three, but ultimately fell 7-5.

East Carolina (9-9, 0-0 American) carried momentum into singles play, winning three-straight matches on courts three, six and two to clinch the match. Andrivot had a 5-4 lead in the second set before the match was decided, while Roustan took her first set 6-3 before it was clinched.

Up next, the Camels are set to return home and host the Liberty Flames for their final Big South matchup of the season. The match is set to begin at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11 at the James R.
