WEST POINT, N.Y. – Campbell's football team had the opportunity to run its pre-game walkthrough prior to the Marist football game (Oct. 15 at noon in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) on the campus of the United States Military Academy at West Point (Army) on Friday, Oct. 14.

After the team's one-hour walkthrough on the Army's field turf practice facility, Col. Sam Johnson gave the Camels a brief tour of some of the important and historic sites of the West Point campus and explained to CU how the campus came to be created for the training of officers for the U.S. Army after the Revolutionary War.

Col. Johnson also gave a brief oral history of Army's football program and the stories behind some of the historic building and barracks on campus.
