BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Four Camels posted wins on the day as Campbell dropped matches to Utah Valley, Arizona State, and Bloomsburg at the Fighting Camel Duals Saturday. 

Redshirt junior Nick Rex recorded a 9-6 decision over Utah Valley's Chase Cuthbertson in the 157-pound bout. The preseason Southern Conference all-conference selection earned two takedowns and a near fall in the contest. He finished 1-1 on the day after taking a medical forfeit to Arizona State's Codey Combs.

Freshman Taylor McGiffen earned his first win as a Camel over Utah Valley's Derek Thomas in the 184-pound class. McGiffen was awarded a takedown and an escape in the third period to win 3-2. He finished 1-2, including a 17-15 loss to Bloomsburg's Chris Smith.

Tanner Bidelspach, a redshirt junior, also posted a win at 133 pounds as he defeated Elliot Zackoski of Bloomsburg. Winning 6-1, Bidelspach recorded a takedown and near fall in the first period. He finished 1-2 in the dual meet.

Freshman Brenden Lindsay won the 285-pound match by forfeit by Bloomsburg's Justin Grant.

As a team, Campbell was 0-3 on the day. The Camels fell to Utah Valley 32-6, Arizona State 43-0, and Bloomsburg 29-9.

On the second mat, Bloomsburg defeated Arizona State 18-6 and Utah Valley 25-10.
