CHATTANOOGA, TENN. – Campbell wrestling competed at the Southern Scuffle Friday and Saturday, an annual two-day event. Sophomore Ville Heino won his opening match in the 184-weight bracket, defeating North Carolina's Scott Marmoll (Dec. 5-2).
Redshirt junior Nathan Kraisser—competing as an unattached wrestler—won his opening match at 133 pounds, claming victory over Joe Martinez of Virginia (Maj. 12-0).
The Camels will return to action Jan. 11 as they travel to Boone, N.C. to take on the Appalachian State Mountaineers at 2 p.m.
