BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell will be the No. 6 seed in the 2015 Big South Baseball Championship, facing No. 3 Winthrop Tuesday in game two of the tournament.
The game will be played 45 minutes after the conclusion of the No. 2 Coastal Carolina vs. No. 7 Charleston Southern opener, scheduled for a 9:30 a.m. start.
Campbell (31-23, 12-12 Big South) secured the No. 6 seed in the 2015 Big South Championship with a series win over No. 25 Coastal Carolina. The Eagles finished the regular season 38-17 overall, clinching the No. 3 seed in next week's Big South Conference tournament after finishing the regular season 38-17 overall and 16-8 in conference play. Winthrop ended the season on a 13-game conference winning streak and swept its last four conference series.
