Ronny Fisher announced the signing of combo guard Maggie Spell out of Pittsburgh, Pa. Spell will join the Camels next season.

"Maggie is a tremendous player, and we are thrilled that she will be joining us at Campbell," Fisher said. "Maggie is a versatile guard with good length who can play multiple positions. She is a deadly shooter with unlimited 3-point range, and she plays with high-level basketball instincts. She is also a terrific passer who brings out the best in the players around her."

- Led the Jaguars to the WPIAL championships

- Also ran track her freshman and sophomore seasons
- Daughter of Dave and Keri
- Has one sibling, Bailey

"She plays for Coach Matt Gould at Thomas Jefferson High School in Pittsburgh, and she played travel ball for Coach Robert Cash and the Western PA Bruins," continued Fisher. "I have great respect for both coaches, and they do an outstanding job of teaching the game. Most importantly, Maggie is a hard worker with outstanding character who embodies our 'Sweat and Serve' culture. She will fit perfectly into our system!"

Campbell (1-2) is coming off its first win of the season against Virginia-Lynchburg. The team plays Western Carolina tonight before hitting the road to take on Furman this Sunday.
