2008 Cross Country:  Earned A-Sun All-Academic honors for the third consecutive year...Finished 21^st at the UNC Challenge, with a time of 20:24:00 on the 5K trail...Had a time of 19:51:00 at the Asics/Winthrop Invitational, on the 5K course...Tallied a 35^th place finish with a time of 23:41:00 on the 6K course at the Mason Invitational...Participated in the Walt Disney World Cross Country Invitational and the Blue Ridge Open and recorded times of 19:29:30 and 20:03:00 respectively on the 5K courses...At the 5K A-Sun Championships, finished the race 17^th  with personal best time of 18:52:82...Recorded the second best team time, and a personal best, at the NCAA Southeast Regional with a time of 23:19:20 and a 124^th place finish...

2008 Track & Field: Garnered Atlantic Sun All-Academic accolades...Finished 12^th in the 5000m at the Carolina Classic with a time of 19:14.82...Posted a 12^th place finish in the mile at the Liberty Invitational with a time of 5:32.76...Notched a time of 5:13.63 in the Irwin Belk Invitational, placing 13^th in the 1500m...Finished 12^th in the 3000m at the Irwin Belk Invitational with a time of 11:28.78...

2007 Cross Country: Named to the Atlantic Sun All-Academic squad for the second consecutive year...Finished 11^th in the Campbell Invitational, posting a time of 16:17.00 on the 4K trail...Came in 22^nd at the 5K Seahawk Invitational, finishing at the 20:11.03 mark...Grabbed her season best finish at the Longwood Invitational with a 10^th place showing by way of a 20:25.35 mark...Notched at 29^th place performance at the Mason Invitational with a time of 24:16.82...Ended A-Sun Championships in 44^th place with a 20:35.00 performance on the 5K course...

Prep/Personal: Four year letterwinner at Jefferson High School...advanced to West Virginia State Track and Field Championships her junior and senior years...helped to guide her team to four conference championships...appeared in the cross country regional finals all three years she ran and was named All-Conference all three seasons...placed first in the 1600m race at the Regional Finals her senior year...All-State in the 4x800m relay her junior year...also lettered in soccer...daughter of Carolyn and Jerry Franklin....has three siblings: Rachel, Andy, and Emily...graduated Summa Cum Laude and posted the highest grade point average for female athletes in her high school...majoring in criminal justice administration...
