Charleston, SC ­- Jonathan O'Neal posted a 2-1 record, for Campbell, on the weekend to claim the flight seven title at the C of C Invite in Charleston, SC October 27-29.
 
O'Neal opened play with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over South Carolina State's Edgar Diaz on Friday.
 
The senior went on to defeat Appalachian State opponent 6-0, 6-1 on Saturday before falling to Appalachian State opponent 0-6, 6-4, 7-5 in flight five action.
 
O'Neal and doubles partner Gerard Sola dropped a 1-2 record in doubles action on the weekend with a sole win over App State's Webster/Bargeron 6-3.
 
No other Fighting Camel players posted over one win on the weekend.
 
Campbell faced off against opponents from Appalachian State, South Carolina State and host school College of Charleston.
 
The field was composed of eight singles flights along with three double flights completed over a three-day span.
 
The Camels return to action next weekend, November 3-4, at the Wake Forest Invitational to close out the fall season.
