CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Eric Bergemann continued a solid outdoor campaign by placing well in the long jump and Thomas Morrell tied a school mark in the hammer throw to highlight Campbell University performances at the 49ers Classic meet held at Irwin Belk Track on the campus of UNC Charlotte.
Bergemann, a sophomore from Greshman, Ore., finished second in the high jump (2.03 meters).
Morrell, a senior from Durham, N.C., tied his own school mark by launching the hammer 143 feet, eight inches.
Campbell returns to action on Saturday, March 24 at the Irwin Belk Invitational, hosted by Davidson College.
