Wynns Finishes Tied for 10th at Carolina
First Intercollegiate
FLORENCE, S.C. -- Sophomore Braxton Wynns finished tied for 10th
at the Carolina First Intercollegiate after shooting a one under
par 71, Tuesday.
Wynns tied with six other golfers to finish in the top 10 with
a two-day total of 143. Senior Simon Dunn shot the team's best
round, Tuesday, firing a two-under 70 after finishing at two over,
Monday. Dunn finished tied for 17th with a 144.
The team finished 11th with a team score of 592. UNC-Wilmington
won the event with a 574, while Furman's Matt Davidson won
individual medalist honors after finishing six under with a
138.
The Camels' next tournament is the Rocky Mountain
Invitational, Oct. 1-2, in Brighton, Colorado.
