Defeats Campbell in Carter Gym

BUIES CREEK, N. C.—Old Dominion University won three of the first four bouts against Campbell en route to defeating the Fighting Camels 26-15 in a CAA conference match Friday night at Carter Gym.
Jeff Rusak recorded his 94^th career victory at the 174-pound class for Old Dominion (6-5, 2-1 CAA) by pinning Josh McConnell at the 2:43 mark. The victory helped blow open a 15-9 ODU lead to a 21-9 margin. A pin by the Monarch's Matt Small over Campbell's John Christian at the 184-pound class helped to put the match out of reach for good, as ODU took a 27-9 lead.
Campbell (4-9, 1-3 CAA) led the match 6-3 after Adam Doherty pinned Matt Epps at the 1:58 mark in the 133 pound bout, but the lead would be short-lived as ODU won the next three bouts in a row.
ODU had one team point deducted after the Monarch's Brad Krepps was called for unsportsmanlike conduct after losing to Jason Greenawalt at the 197 weight class.
