Softball Downs Illinois, 1-0
ROCK HILL, S.C. -- The Campbell University softball team improved
to 13-14 with a 1-0 win over Illinois in the Camels' first game of
the Winthrop Invitational, Friday.
Junior rightfielder Shannon O'Bryan doubled for the Camels and
scored when Lisa Evans knocked out a 2-out single.
Holly Harris (4-3) picked up the win, pitching a complete game
and fanning five in the win.
Campbell continues play in the tournament when they face
Charleston Southern at 4 p.m., Friday. [Box
