BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- Three members of
the Campbell 2001-02 A-Sun Championship women's squad that will
compete in the NCAA West Regional this week were selected for
all-conference recognition. The Lady Camels are making their
sixth-consecutive NCAA Regional appearance. Sharon O'Neill was
named to the All-Atlantic Sun first-team, while Josefina Usandizaga
was a second-team selection. Michelle Holmes was tabbed for the
A-Sun All-Freshman team.
Last week, Campbell's
John Crooks was named Atlantic Sun Women's Golf Coach of the Year
for the fifth time in the last seven seasons.
Junior Sharon O'Neill

in March and at the Edwin Watts Palmetto Intercollegiate in
November.
Campbell has reached an
NCAA Regional in each of O'Neill's three seasons with the squad.
She advanced to the 2000 NCAA Championship after placing fifth at
the NCAA East Regional that year.

second year in a row. The Tandil, Argentina native won her first
collegiate individual title on Apr. 2 in the Fighting Camel Classic

Apr. 17 with an eight-over-par 227 (73-77-77) to earn a spot on the

78.15 stroke average to rate second on team over 26 rounds. She is
ranked 202nd nationally in the latest Golfstat Cup
standings. Usandizaga tied her career-best round with a 71 at the
Edwin Watts Palmetto Intercollegiate in November.
