Campbell Places Fifth at Catamount Classic
CULLOWHEE, N.C. -
Campbell University placed fifth in the six-school field at the
Western Carolina University Catamount Classic on Saturday. Western
Carolina swept the first three places, led by individual winner
Caleb Bailey (15:04.99). The Catamounts placed five runners among
the top nine individuals to win the team crown.
Campbell sophomore Michael Earle placed 16th
(16:07) overall to pace the Fighting Camel men in the 5000-meter
event. Campbell returns to action next Saturday (Sept. 14) at the
UNC Challenge in Chapel Hill.
