Campbell Women's Tennis Wins Tight Match Over Coastal Carolina, 4-3
BUIES CREEK, N.C. - The
Lady Camels braved strong winds and chilly temperatures on Thursday
at the Nisbet Tennis Center to defeat the Coastal Carolina Lady
Chanticleers, 4-3, in non-conference women's tennis
action.
In a tight match that
lasted more than three hours, Campbell earned the doubles point and
three Lady Camels including Carmen Linder, Pascale Veraverbeke and
Isabel Declercq notched wins over Coastal players to earn the win
and push Campbell to a perfect 2-0 record on the season.
The Lady Chanticleers
fall to 2-2 this season.
The Lady Camels return
to action in a dual match with the men's team on Saturday, February
15 at East Carolina. Both teams return home on Tuesday to host High
Point University at 1 p.m.
