Campbell
Completes Perfect Season at Home With 5-2 Win Over Elon
BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- Campbell swept all three
doubles matches to earn the doubles point and went on to defeat
Elon 5-2 in a non-conference match at the Nisbet Tennis Center on
Monday.
In addition to the doubles point, Campbell completed wins in
the top four singles positions, including a 6-3, 6-1 victory by
Kerstin Stockinger at No. 1 singles.
The Lady Camels played their last regular-season match of the
year, improving to 6-0 at home and 11-4 overall.
Seniors Kerstin Stockinger and Lindsey Hughes played in the
last home matches of their college careers and they will now travel
with the team to the Atlantic Sun Conference championship, which
begins on Wednesday in DeLand, Fla.
