Weather Cancels Camels Home Exhibition Match

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Lady Camels home exhibition soccer match against the CASL '87 squad has been cancelled because of lightning and rain in the area.

This is the second pre-season match postponed or cancelled because of weather. CU's match at The Citadel was postponed last weekend because of Hurricane Charley. The game was made up Monday with the Camels winning 3-0.

Campbell's next home match is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 21 at 1:00 p.m. against the Alumni team at Eakes Athletic Complex. The regular season kicks off on Friday, Aug. 27 when the Camels host the Wolfpack of North Carolina State.
