Campbell Downs East Carolina 5-2
GREENVILLE, N.C. – Campbell won
for the fourth time in five outings this spring with a 5-2 dual
match victory on Saturday at East Carolina.
The Lady Camels (4-1) won the doubles
points with victories at the top two rungs, then claimed four
singles matches.
Pascale Veraverbeke improved to 4-1 in
singles this spring with a straight-sets win at number-two. Stacey
Batkiewicz and Colen Gore also won in straights at the fifth and
sixth spots, respectively.
Georgiana Marta outlasted ECU's Gillie
Bailey in three sets at the third singles post.
Campbell returns to action on Tuesday
at High Point in a 1:30 p.m. start.
